MEET TYLER CHAPMAN
Hi, I’m Tyler Chapman. I grew up on a family farm in Ekron, KY, where I learned the value of hard work, practical thinking, and the fine art of not arguing with a stubborn cow. Those lessons still shape how I tackle challenges today—head-on, but with a little humor.
After graduating from Western Kentucky University, I spent nearly a decade in banking, specializing in untangling complicated systems and solving problems for real people. Now, I hold a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Kentucky, along with a certificate in Public Financial Management—because nothing says fun like a well-balanced spreadsheet.
In 2024, I ran for state representative in Kentucky’s 27th House District to bring common sense and decency to Frankfort. I didn’t win, but I left with a clear truth: making Kentucky better isn’t tied to one race or one title. This blog is my way of keeping the fight alive—breaking down policies, spotlighting solutions, and occasionally calling out the nonsense coming out of Frankfort.
Outside of policy and politics, I’m probably traveling somewhere with great food or channeling my inner Ina Garten in the kitchen. A little olive oil and a lot of butter can fix almost anything—except bad legislation.
Thanks for stopping by. Let’s get to work.
